Hey there!



This idea comes from BigFriendlyLucario's journal ( little help? ).


DevianTools now has a tool to hide what annoys you on deviantArt webpages, so pages become lighter.


For instance, if you don't like the "more like this" thing that every deviation has, you can hide it.
If you want it back, go to your settings, and uncheck the hiding box in front of "More like this" (don't forget to click "save" like any other normal setting).


If you want to be able to hide some other stuff (like, groups a deviation is part of, stats for the deviation, journal's mood, or anything else that annoys you on deviantArt pages), just leave a comment here. An "[hide]" option will be added as soon as possible.


The only thing that won't be hidden are ads (if you want to hide ads, search for an adblocker on google, like adblock+, very efficient).

Hiding some messages perhaps? I dislike contests, hot topics and activity notices invading my communications... nine times out of ten all they do is irritate. Yes of course I can delete them but more always appear - and the notices take up screen space... and who-has-faved-what-image-in-my-gallery is not always necessary.
It would be nice to hide them until I'm ready for notice-browsing.
dA hasn't provided a way to hide them. Can you help?
